This moth has her winter coat on already and she is looking fabulouuuuuuuuus!
No this is not okay please kill every one of these
You all better hold my earrings right now. How could you kill something so small that contributes so much to our environment? They’re harmless, tiny creatures just making their way through life and sometimes get caught up in our human world on their journeys. With moths, we are able to see various changes in food supply and crops, weather, and changes in the amounts of recent pesticides being put into our towns as well.
Do not hurt moths. Moths are beautiful. They are the fairies of our natural world. Love the moths. Release the moths.
^ TELL EM! Moths are beautiful creatures. :)
It’s so ADORABLE
As many of you may or may not know, recently my friend has been in hospital to get a tumor removed. Today she received a text from her exboyfriend. This is a screenshot of the text that was sent and his picture.
The guy who sent this to her was emotionally, physically and sexually abusive to her, and now he is sending her threats. He spent time in juvie for what he did but got out and is back at it again. He in fact visited her in the hospital just to scare her. She is trying to get a restraining order but he isn’t one to obey the law.
If you know this guy, please stop making contact with him. Expose him for who he really is. If you ever meet him, please do not let him take advantage of you like he did Victoria.

This happened today at 7am so SIGNAL BOOST. THE SOONER THE BETTER THE CHANCES OF THEM GETTING APPREHENDED.
Reblogging for my MD/VA followers. This child has not been rescued yet, and the kidnapper killed her mother.
If you see something like this, DO NOT CALL AN EXTERMINATOR!
Call a beekeeper, they can relocate the hive instead of killing them. Bees are dying at an alarming rate, please do not contribute to that! They are so important for our ecosystem!
yo fuck this i aint gonna call no beekeeper i’m moving before i’m dead
I’m going to call an exterminator so the exterminator can kill them. I’ll be able to sleep at night knowing that there are less bees in the world.
No bees = no food.
No food = no life.
Congratulations on destroying the world.
Save the bees. They’ll thank you by pollinating what will be your food.
You dense motherfuckers
Look, bees are dying at an alarming rate and hopefully people can call a beekeeper if this happens. BUT.
Does the beekeeper charge?
Do they charge more than the exterminator?
Is it a matter of life and death? If someone has allergies, and could die from this, I don’t blame them for wanting to get rid of the bees ASAP.
I have done a brief google test on this one, just by googling “bee relocation [my home town]” and “bee extermination [my home town]”. End result: bee relocation, between $50-$100 for the entire swarm, generally around $55-65 for native bees and $85-ish for European bees or other bees with quarantine restrictions etc. Price fluctuates a little with how large the swarm is and how hard they are to get to, but that’s your general range. Depending where you are there are actually organisations that will remove the swam for free—if you live near a Capalano producer for example—and of the couple of websites I checked most beekeepers state that they will happily
Bee extermination: the absolute cheapest I saw was $35/hour. I’m not sure many hours it takes to remove bees, but, based on my experience with having people in to destroy a fairly small nest of fire ants in an easily accessible location? Multiple hours. Possibly, multiple repeat visits. That said, many exterminators in my area are now turning to removal and relocation as an alternative, because they are aware of the environmental costs of killing bees.
If you have allergies, then I feel for you, I do. It sucks that you would have to put up with this. But if you want to get rid of the bees ASAP, it doesn’t actually matter who you call. Neither the exterminator nor the beekeeper is going to get to your house fast enough to make any kind of difference. You’re still going to have bees that could potentially kill you in your home for, at a guess, at least a couple of hours. Bees are non-aggressive unless you get all up in their faces, so you’re probably fine as long as you don’t actually pester them. They don’t want to sting you! Stinging you is a suicide mission for them! Leave them alone, keep an epipen and your phone handy just in case, or just relocate for a while.
(Additionally, the kind of hive and swarm seen in the picture doesn’t spring up overnight! If you have allergies I trust you to be aware enough of your own health and safety to notice when the first couple of bees move in and start hanging around.)
There’s really no excuse at all for the wanton destruction of peaceful, helpful insects.
bees terrify me but I don’t want them to die, good advice
